Moon came between noon and sunset
Setting in the wee hours
after midnight
The Moon is in a Waxing Gibbous phase
Between a first quarter moon
and full moon
The
January 31 full moon is super-close full moons.
So it’s
not just a total lunar eclipse, or a Blue Moon, or a supermoon.
It’s
all three … a super Blue Moon total eclipse!
This phase is when the
moon is more than 50% illuminated
The phase lasts round 7
days
Moon is in the east in
mid-afternoon
And will be high in the
eastern sky at sunset.
Visible though most of
the night sky setting a few hour before sunrise.
What a beautiful and
delightful sight to see.... The MOON
GLOW!!!
