Or rather papers which blot out myself, 

I am debted to you Lord, how much I don't know? 

But looking at me, I feel hopeless.

For in the eyes of all, my life is a BLESSING!

Drained with specks of my impurities,

Oh... consumed... it's gone, foliage bitten to usurp,

Ah, a pest, VIRUS, epidemic, a havoc I would say, 

Millions of bodies scattered among the streets, 

Cries of souls in agony tear open the coffins, 

Pathetic indeed to unidentify kind remains! 

Never expected to multiply so vigorously, 

A word that is updated in the mortals dictionary, 

An infant to the aged, dread in fear, 

For so long, it's impact remain hidden. 

Oh. like Frost, 'Death, who has lost its Sting', 

We are inside safe with cushions of warmth, 

Plates of varieties and pleasures to keep us awake, 

We lay surrounded by a ray of luxury. 

Let us poke our ring of protection, 

Hamper ourselves with wild thoughts to stay confused, 

For we cannot sit back to just view in What's App, 

The statistics of CORONA virus death toll increase. 

Let it pinch us, affect us, turn us to be ACTIVISTS, 

For only if it touches your known and family, 

Would you react in vengeance or anger? 

Ya, right unless you're touched, you won't react! 

Alas, no, let us be filled with LOVE, 

LOVE for Humanity, 

Shed tears for our brethren victims, 

Who die and return to DUST everyday. 

Oh, don't just clench your fists and beat the drum, 

Or, in anguish say, 'What else can I do? '

I recommend, 'Cover yourself not only with masks, 

But also with the veil of PRAYER. '
